This study will provide a descriptive account of the scale and composition of emergency calls for police service in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The study makes use of dispatch centre data provided by the Dutch National Police for the year 2019. Analyses are descriptive, focusing on a breakdown of calls for service by incident type in terms of raw call counts, percentages, and police deployment time.
